APPENDIX A
1. Provision and delivery of the materials will commence on written instruction from the contractor and completion of this subcontract agreement will be on completion of the contractor’s work. There is no guarantee of the quantities that will be ordered at any time or over the life of the project.
2. The delivered quantity has to be checked, received and approve by the contractor. Every quantities of material is clarify for verification for payment. The material shall be clean and free of any debris or brokerages .
3. No extra cost will be considered for use of any additional routes to the site or haulage and landing fees levied by third parties.
4. Any delay in the transportation and delivery of the materials by the subcontractor which will disrupt the contractor’s schedule in any way shall render the subcontractor liable to a penalty of N5,000.00 per day. The limit of this delay shall be five (5) percent of the contractual works being executed.
5. Subcontractor is solely responsible for the safe and timely guarantee delivery of the materials onto the site.
6. The subcontractor shall follow the contractor’s delivery schedule for material.
7. Subcontractor invoice shall be submitted at a (1) week interval and payment of approved invoice shall be made within five (5) working days.
8. Subcontractor shall observe and comply with all contractors’ rule and regulation relating to security and safety within the site and its access from the federal highway.
9. Subcontractor will have as a minimum third party insurance for all its vehicles and prove of this will be required to be provided to contractor.
10. A copy of company registration papers and VAT registration if applicable will be required.
